The Shoppes at River Crossing, a 750,000-square-foot regional shopping and entertainment center in Macon, Georgia, opened on March 19, 2008. A joint venture of General Growth Properties, Inc., and Jim Wilson & Associates, Inc., it features upscale specialty stores, restaurants, two department stores and five mid-size anchor stores. Stores include Dillard's, Barnes & Noble, Coach, Coldwater Creek, J. Jill, Bonefish Grill, Talbot's, and Jos. A. Banks.
The Shoppes at River Crossing is the first open-air retail and entertainment center in Bibb County and serves a 22-county trade area in central Georgia with an estimated population of 612,000. Macon was recently named by Inc. magazine as one of the "top 50 small metro areas in the U.S." The Shoppes is located at Interstate 75 and Riverside Drive in Macon, Ga.
