• Widely recognized as the iconic shopping destination in downtown Chicago, Water Tower Place is favorite among residents and has become one of the foremost tourist attractions in the city. In 2008, Water Tower Place completed a multi-million redevelopment showcasing a new 52,000 square foot American Girl Place flagship—one of the most successful retail concepts in the nation. Along with American Girl Place, the shopping center unveiled 11 new retailers including a Forever 21 flagship, Betsey Johnson, Cusp by Neiman Marcus, Aritzia, Aéropostale and adidas Sport Performance Store.
• Water Tower Place features a stunning retail mix of contemporary brands including Abercrombie & Fitch, Sephora, Tourneau, TUMI, Nine West, Akira, Coach, Lacoste, bebe, Ann Taylor, Banana Repulic and many more. In addition to great retail, the shopping center is home to Broadway Playhouse, a new theatre for the Broadway In Chicago family of theatres. A lavish 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art live theatre venue featuring plays and musicals, as well as classics from Broadway and beyond.
• Water Tower Place continues to strengthen its merchandise mix with both new and first-to-Chicago retailers. Hollister Co., bare Minerals, Eileen Fisher, The LEGO Store, A|X Armani Exchange, Henri Bendel, Swarovski, PINK, Free People, Marbles: The Brain Store, Billabong, Tourneau, Lacoste, Teavana, Vera Bradley and Oakley are all examples of the array of specialty retailers found at the Water Tower Place experience. In 2012, Water Tower Place welcomed a 14,590-square-foot S.A. Elite Sports Authority, its first Chicago location, enhancing the sporting goods category and merchandise mix.
