Troy Benson is the Chief Revenue Officer at GGP, leading the company’s sales teams across all facets of leasing, business development, and big box retail.
With 30 years at the company, Troy has worked in nearly every sector of the leasing team. He most recently served as the Executive Vice President of Leasing for the retail group, where he was responsible for leasing activities across more than 150 million square feet of retail space. In his current role, Troy oversees the execution of over 15,000 annual transactions related to permanent leasing, business development, and big box strategies.
Earlier in his career, Troy was the Vice President of Asset Management, overseeing marketing, leasing, and management for 45 regional shopping centers. His real estate career began in Florida with a focus on ground-up development projects.
Troy earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kansas and remains an avid Jayhawks fan.
